Sadly we have made the difficult decision not to renew our animal boarding licence that was due to expire at the end of this year. The Willow Cattery will be closed from 1st January 2025 onwards.

OUR FAMILY
Holly
We still refer to Holly as our "kitten-cat" because, although she was 17 at Christmas 2008, she has never grown up.

In spite of being half the size of our other cats she rules the house and is a "proper little madam".
We call her the IT Manager because she uses the computer monitor as a hot water bottle; also to attract our attention she sits on either the keyboard or the bookings diary.

Tigger
Tigger was our big, soft, ginger tom, built for comfort, not speed; his motto was "I would enjoy the day more if it started later".
Hunting was definitely not his forté, although once he did manage to capture a caterpillar before it ran off.

His job was Customer Services Manager; ever alert, he was supposed to meet and greet customers, count them in and count them out - a role he took very seriously, as you can see.
Sadly Tigger passed away in June 2006

Milo
Milo originally lived with a neighbour, but decided he wanted to adopt us; eventually, with the neighbours blessing and a sort of agreement from Holly and Tigger, he moved in with us.

We say Milo is the only cat we know who voluntarily booked himself into a cattery.
He patrols the garden -his patch- and accompanies us on our daily rounds, so we've made him Estate Manager, a role he also takes very seriously.

Hedgie
Originally we discovered one hedgehog eating the food we put outside, but we soon spotted more wandering around the garden and visiting the food bowl, so they all get called Hedgie.
They all love crunching on the Techni-Cal dry cat food.

Bella and Jake
(probably not their real names) are a pair of extremely tame blackbirds who wait for their breakfast each morning by the door of the indoor cattery.
They also tuck into Techni-Cal biscuits.
